Family Recipe: Sweet and saucy stories, essays, and poems about family life is exactly that–a short anthology about my life and family.

“Normally Dysfunctional”–the title of the first piece in this collection–summarizes what families are all about. Contrary to Tolstoy, every family–happy or sad–resembles every other. Family Recipe contains something to bring a memory and a smile to every reader’s heart.

As one Amazon reviewer said, "This is a 'feel-good' book and one that can easily be read in a single sitting. A 'must' for relaxation and escapism."

I have also had short works published in the following anthologies and magazines:

  • Several Chicken Soup for the Soul books, including

    • All in the Family (both as Theresa Hupp and under a pseudonym)

    • Shaping the New You

    • Parenthood

    • The Multitasking Mom's Survival Guide (under a pseudonym)

  • A Bad Hair Day, an anthology published by Mozark Press

  • Volume 8 of Kansas City Voices magazine, published by Whispering Prairie Press.

And coming next . . .

I am now working on the seventh book in the Oregon Chronicles series, which won't be published until sometime in 2024. I think this will be the last book in the series, but I'm not sure.

I'll be posting more on this work-in-progress on my blog in months to come.
